Barbara Rackley

Barbara Sanders Rackley, 64, of Whiteville, died Thursday, February 9, 2017. She was born August 31, 1952, the daughter of the late John Sanders and Wilma Rice Ingram.

Barbara was a member of Cornerstone Original Freewill Baptist Church. She was formerly employed with BB&T and Columbus National Bank. She was also co-owner of Rackley Plumbing.

She is survived by her husband, Robert F. "Buddy" Rackley, Jr.; daughters, Suzanne Rackley Hunt and husband, Randy of Whiteville, Melissa Rackley Andrews and husband, William of Whiteville; grandchildren, Randy Hunt, Jr, Brooklyn Hunt, William Andrews III, Zachary Hunt, Emily Andrews, Madelyn Hunt, Annah-Grayce Andrews; great grandchildren, Abigail Hunt, Harper Hunt; brother, Ronnie Sanders of Bakersville, NC; sister, Linda Morgan of Bakersville, NC.

Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Monday, February 13, 2017 at Cornerstone Original Freewill Baptist Church by the Rev. Donny Jernigan and Rev. Randy Hunt.

Her family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Peacock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Columbus Memorial Park.
