Betty M. Bordeaux

Betty McCarson Bordeaux 83, of Delco died Friday, August 18,2017 in Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Lifecare Center, Whiteville. She was born November 24, 1933 in Greenville County, SC the daughter of the late Wilford McCarson and Frances Moore McCarson.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James William Bordeaux; a son, Jimmy Bordeaux and a grandson, Brent Bordeaux.

She is survived by two sons, Phillip Bordeaux and wife, Laura of Riegelwood, NC, Elvin Easter of Delco; a daughter, Glenda Parker and husband, Wayne of Delco; a brother, Donald McCarson and wife, Joanne; a sister, Carolyn Tharrington and husband, Harold of Smithfield; grandchildren, Wendy Applewhite, Kristen Brown and husband, Matt, Bryan Boreaux and wife, Kelly, J.B. Bordeaux and wife, Samantha, Kimber Coker and husband, Kevin; great grandchildren, Lily, Kaitlyn, Carson and Jenna Applewhite, Kaylee, Kaden and Kaleb Brown, Jake Bordeaux and wife, Haily, Greyson Bordeaux, Garrett Bordeaux and Banks Bordeaux, Kamden and Kolin Coker.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Livingston Chapel Baptist Church by Rev. Jerome Bullard, Rev. Matthew Griffin and Rev. Patsy Smith.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Her family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Monday, August 21, 2017 at Livingston Chapel Baptist Church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan, Jake, Greyson, and J.B. Bordeaux, Kevin Coker and Carson Applewhite.  Honorary pallbearers will be  Robert Holden, Donald Lennon, Billy Potter, Martin Lewis,  Bobby Curtis, Charles Smith, Jerry Babson, Eugene Carroll, Sandy Dew.
