Brenda Joyce (Simmons) Ward

Brenda Joyce Ward 74, of Sumter, SC passed Tuesday, September 26, 2017.  She was born June 22, 1943 in  Robeson County, the daughter of the late Wadis Milton Simmons and Doretha Inman Simmons.  She was the widow of the late Ernest Ward, Jr.  

She retired after thirty-one years of service from the Hotel Industry in Las Vegas as a Housekeeper.

A graveside service will be 11:00 am Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park.

She is survived by a son, Michael Wayne Ward of Sumter, SC; daughter, Angela Oseland and husband, Brian of  Sumter, SC; grandchildren, Rebecca Gill and husband, Michael, Sarah Sandifer and husband Ian, Hannah Oseland, and Brianna Oseland, all of Sumter, SC.
