                                    Brooks L. Fipps

Mr. Brooks L. Fipps 71, of Loris, SC died Saturday Nov. 10, 2012.  He was born in Columbus County, the son of the late Ralph Fipps and Ethel Formyduval Fipps.  


Mr. Fipps was a veteran of  Vietnam having served in the US Army.   He was a farmer and owned and operated Fipps Garage in Loris, SC for many years.  He was an avid hunter and race car fan.

He is survived by a son, Shawn Fipps and wife, Wendy of Tabor City; two brothers, Gene Fipps and wife, Chris of Fayetteville and Fred Fipps and wife, Mary of Glen Rose, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Arthur Fipps.

A graveside service with military honors will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the Graham Cemetery in Loris, SC. by Rev. Billy Roy.
