Dorothy Louise Harris, 66, of Whiteville died Saturday, June 1, 2013 at her home. She was born September 8, 1946.in Jersey City, NY the daughter of the late Aaron Harris and Eleanor Bresham Harris. 

Dorothy retired as a CNA with Premier Living in Lake Waccamaw, NC 

She is survived by grandsons, Hector Benthall of Columbia, SC, and John Young; a granddaughter, Lanesha Robinson and husband, Rogers of Whiteville; a sister, Brenda Harris of Savannah, GA; great grandchildren, Antwan Benthall, Nyasia hill, Samantha Hill, Keymani Robinson, naya Heyward, Zavy Lewis, Amanii Jackson, Jaemon Benson, Auri Taylor. She was preceded in death by a son, Hector Manuel Velez. 

Her family will plan a memorial service at a later date.
