Mrs. Gail Benton Sellers, 67, of Whiteville died Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She was born in Columbus County on June 19, 1949, the daughter of Edward and Macy Blackman Nobles.

She received her CNA certification from SCC and retired from Interim Healthcare. She attended Living Word Church.

She is survived by two sons, George Benton, Jr. and wife, Melinda of Chadbourn and James Benton of Chadbourn; two grandsons, Josh Faircloth of Chadbourn and Matthew Sellers of Whiteville; great-grandchild, Harley Faircloth of Chadbourn; stepsons, Leroy Sellers of Whiteville and Kenny Sellers of Lake Waccamaw; stepdaughter, Carol Bowen of Chadbourn.

Her funeral service will be at 3:00 pm Friday, November 25, 2016 at Peacock's Chapel by the Rev. Ron Fields.

Her family will receive friends 1:00 - 3:00 pm Friday, November 25, 2016 at Peacock Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Columbus Memorial Park.
