James (Jim) Doll

SFC James Otto Doll, Jr. RET

SFC James (Jim) Otto Doll, Jr. RET, 63, of Fayetteville died Monday, June 6, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He was born September 29, 1952, the son of the late James Otto and Helen Watson Doll.

Mr. Doll was retired from the US Army. He was a ROTC instructor and principal in the North Carolina public school system.

He is survived by his wife, Grace Garrell Mishoe; daughter, Stefanie Marie Doll of North Myrtle Beach; stepson, Ron Mishoe of Whiteville; stepdaughter, Alisha Reaves of Nakina; grandchildren, Trinity, Jayden, Gralyn, Jayce, R.E., John Michael, Violet, Cannon, Maddie; brother, Fred Doll and wife, Terri of Chicago.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Anthony Christopher Doll.

His funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Peacock's Chapel by the Rev. Wallyce Todd. 

His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial with full military honors will be 12:00 noon Friday, June 10, 2016  at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Fort Bragg, NC.
