It was our pleasure to have had the opportunity to get to know our neighbor, Jim over these past several years. We enjoyed the conversations with him as he "surveyed" the community from his front porch rocking chair. He proudly told us stories of his family and his military service career. He was a strong and, rightfully, proud individual. Jim was truly a decent man and he will be missed by not only ourselves, but by the entire community of Wellstone Court. I've only had the privilege of seeing Uncle Jimmy on two occasions, once at a family reunion in lake Waccamaw (in the 70s) and secondly I stopped by on my way back from Chesapeake VA not long before Aunt Annie Ruth died. I thought a lot of and respected Uncle Jimmy

I am so sorry to hear that Jim passed away. I was in the Army Reserve with him and also I was full time. It was a pleasure severing with him and he was a wonderful person. We sure will miss him at our Army Reserve Retirees meeting. My prayers are with the family.
