So sorry to hear of Jean's death. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time of loss. She was 'old school' nursing and there ain't nothing wrong with that since most of us came from the same cut. She will surely be missed. May God grant you peace and comfort. Remember the good times. Lynn and Lisa -- How my heart breaks for you both upon hearing the news of your dear mother's passing. She was so much more than just a good neighbor. Mel and I loved her, as did my parents. She was part of the tapestry of Duchess Forest.
Sweet are the memories of yesteryear, now some forty plus, spent with you girls, playing in tree houses and on swing sets, playing until dusk, knowing our parents were nearby. Kodak and Polaroid photographs, though yellowed, still tell the story of a happy childhood.
I wish for you to know that in recent years, I have grown to love 'Ms. Jean' even more deeply than I did as a young girl. She was a constant source of warmth and support to my parents during difficult times. I will never forget your mother for her loving and caring spirit.
May God bring you both, and your respective families, comfort in the knowledge that your mother's gentle soul is now among angels.

Sending my love to all of grandma Jeans family. I love them all dearly. Jean was a strong loving person who loved her family so much, she loved the lord also and she will be missed by so many. Those she worked with, her church family, her friends and mostly her family. She has over come so many things in her life time, a great fighter threw them all. She is now in a resting place where there is no more sorrow no more pain. What a great angel heaven received yesterday. I loved her dearly.
