Kenneth "Kenny" Allen Soles

Mr. Kenneth "Kenny" Allen Soles 62, of Whiteville died Wednesday at his home.  He was born March 5, 1954 in Columbus County, the son of Mrs. Margie Rhodes Soles of Whiteville and the late Willie Kenneth Soles. He was a veteran of the US Navy and a member and former Chaplin of Whiteville VFW Post 8073.  He was formerly an insurance agent with Life Of Georgia and was formerly employed with Penn Ventilation in Tabor City. 

He is survived by a daughter, Misty Soles Nunnery and husband, Clint of Council; a son, Hunter Wolfe Soles of Whiteville; his mother, Margie Rhodes Soles; a sister, Jeanie Soles Evans of Whiteville; nephews, Jimmy D. Inman, Jr., Dr. Donaver M. Evans II. 

His funeral service with military honors will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Peacock's Chapel by Dr. Tommy Bryson and Pastor Eddie Soles. A US Navy burial at sea will be scheduled.

His family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Peacock Funeral Home.
