Lewis E. Sellers

Mr. Lewis E. Sellers, 81 of Lake Waccamaw, NC died Sunday, July 2, 2017 in Premier Living surrounded by friends and family  He was born August 9, 1935 in Columbus County, the son of the late James Dow Sellers and Annie Pearl Todd Sellers.  Mr. Sellers was a retired forester with International Paper  for thirty nine years. 

He is survived by his wife, Alpha Mae Canady Sellers; a son, Lewis E. Sellers, Jr. and wife, Rita of Lake Waccamaw; a daughter, Diane Willis of Durham; brothers, Buddy Sellers of Lake Waccamaw and Willard Sellers and wife, Jackie of Lebanon Ohio; a sister, Joyce Teachey and husband, Jimmy of Wilmington, five grandchildren, Travis Pomeroy, Jarrett Pomeroy, Shannon Bryant, Drake Long and Lucas Long;  and one great granddaughter, Sienna Bryant; special cousin, Doris Smith; special nieces, Barbara Stephens Kathy Murray, Patricia Davis.

His funeral will be 3:00 pm Thursday, July 6, 2017 graveside at Lake Waccamaw Hillcrest Cemetery conducted by Rev. Terry Green.
