Mrs. Patsy Johnson 72, of Tabor City died Friday, April 15, 2016 in McLeod Hospital in Florence, SC. 

She was born November 3, 1943 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Lester A. Johnson and Bessie Fowler Johnson.

She is survived by  a son, Shawn Fipps and wife, Wendy of Tabor City; a brother, Tony Johnson and wife, Teresa of Tabor City; a sister, JoAnne Stinson and husband, Jim of N. Augusta, SC; life partner of 38 years,  Mr. Gene Dunn of Tabor City.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jackie Johnson and Buck Johnson; a sister, Doris Shelley.

Her funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 19, 2016 graveside at the Collins Cemetery in Green Sea, SC  by Rev. Billy Roy.          

Her family will receive friends 11:00 – 12:00 am Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Peacock Funeral Home, Whiteville.
