Ruby Mae Jones

Ruby Mae Jones 88, of Whiteville died Saturday, January 6, 2018 in Liberty Commons.  She was born January 17, 1929 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late George Jones and Olive Smith Jones. 

She is survived by nieces, Myrtle Jones of Whiteville, Jean Spaulding of Whiteville, Eva Jones Edmund of Whiteville, Peggy Jones of Holden Beach, Ann Jones of Bladenboro; nephews, Billy Jones of Whiteville, Paul Jones of Whiteville, many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Ernest Paul Jones, Casey Jones, Garland Jones, Tom Henry Jones; sisters, Mary Jones Simmons, Bertha Jones Simmons, Myrtle Jones Penny; nephews, Ernest Best, Ralph  Best, Jr.,  Bobby Jones, W.J. Jones, Terry Jones, Vernon Jones, Ollie Jones; nieces, Vennie Jones, Martha Jones.

Her funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 10, 2018 graveside at Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park.

Her family will receive friends 1:00 - 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Peacock Funeral Home.
