Vickie Shaw Caswell

Vickie Shaw Caswell, 53, of Whiteville died Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She was born August 17, 1962 in Bladen County, the daughter of the late Thomas Lester Shaw and Vivian Gibson Shaw.

She formerly worked as a nursing assistant at Lake Waccamaw Assisted Living. She was also formerly employed at Washtub Laundry.

She is survived by her husband, Allen Caswell; sons, Matthew Earl "Matt" Ward and wife, Patsy of Whiteville, Jeremy Ward and fiancée, Tiffany Graham of Whiteville; granddaughters, Kadence Ward, Kara Brown and Sophia Ward; brother, Billy Shaw of Bladenboro, and sister, Tammy Shaw of Richmond, VA.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles Thomas Shaw.

Her funeral service will be conducted   3:00 pm Sunday, June 26, 2016 in Peacock's Chapel.  Burial will be in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemeery.

Her family will receive friends one hour prior to her service at Peacock Funeral Home.
