Elaine Morris

Beatrice Elaine Morris 76, of Whiteville, N.C. went to her heavenly home on Monday morning, April 15, 2024 while surrounded by her family. She was married to Baxter Wayne Morris. They shared 14 years of marriage together. Elaine was born in Loris, S.C. She was a long-time member of Trinity Baptist church and loved her church family dearly. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by Woodrow Wilson Jenrette, father, and Annie Mae Lawson Jenrette , step mother, and Nellie Veda Jacobs Mason, mother, and William Jennings Mason, step father, her sisters Bonnie Jenrette Gonzalez, Oveda Jenrette Cummings, and half brother, Billy Wilson Mason, all of Fort Worth Texas.

Elaine is survived by her husband, Baxter Wayne Morris, and her children, Richmond Tedder (April Tedder) of Whiteville, NC, Jennifer Sautter (Tim Sautter) of Conway, SC, Laura Tedder of Whiteville, NC, Scott Tedder (Palmira Tedder) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Ethan Morris of Raleigh, NC. Her grandchildren, Shandorah Tedder, Lainey Tedder, Graysen Sautter, and Braxton Sautter; her brother, Dale Mason, of Fort Worth Texas, sister,  Patricia Gore of Inman, SC, and brother,  Jimmy Jenrette of Supply, NC.; former spouse Raymond Elfrey Tedder.

Visitation with the family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday April 16, at Peacock Funeral Home, Whiteville, N.C.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, Whiteville, N.C. with Pastor Barry Swain officiating. A graveside service following at Western Prong Baptist Church Cemetery is open to family and friends.
