Aline Dudley Collier

Mrs. Aline Dudley Collier 95, of Whiteville passed away peacefully to be with her Lord Monday, October 1, 2012 in Columbus Regional Healthcare. She was born February 24, 1917 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Walter Dudley and Thetus Hinson Dudley. She was the widow of the late Ralph Thomas Collier.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Collier Prince of Whiteville; grandchildren, Tina Robin White of Chadbourn and Loretta Prince Hinson of Whiteville, great grandchildren, Natosha L. Wells of Whiteville, Moneika R. Jones of Cerro Gordo, Santana S. Smith of Chadbourn, Lexuss M. Hinson of Whiteville and Kassidy H. Hinson of Whiteville; a great great granddaughter, Savannah R. Norris of Cerro Gordo.

She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Collier; brothers, Tess Hinson and George "Son" Dudley; sisters, Opal Dudley Hill and Eva Mae Dudley Stevens.

Her funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, October 4, 2012 by Willis Horton at Western Prong Baptist Church where she was the oldest living member.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Peacock Funeral Home.
