Audra Smith-Heffner

Audra Smith-Heffner 73, of Nakina died Friday, July 21, 2017 in Liberty Commons.  She was born September 24, 1943 in Waynesville, NC the daughter of the late Joseph Hugh Gossett and Selma Brown Gossett.  She was preceded in death by her husband,  James R. Heffner and a sister, Huey Dianne Thomas.  

She was a retired Cosmetology instructor from SCC.  She was a member of Hope Community Church of Metrolina in Charlotte, NC.

She is survived by three sons, Shane Smith and wife, Charlotte of Nakina,  Dale Smith of Myrtle Beach, SC , Kenneth Smith of Nakina; brother, Joel B. Gossett and wife, Linda of Winder, GA; grandchildren, Aaron Smith, Zachary Smith,  Morgan Smith, Hugh Smith; great grandchildren, Xander Smith and Gemma Smith.

Her family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Monday, July 24, 2017 at Peacock Funeral Home.
