Barbara Jean Brodnax

Barbara Jean Brodnax 75, of Hallsboro died Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice.  She was born November 11, 1942 in Webster Parish, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Henry and Kathryn Minor Brodnax.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Barbara graduated from Acme Delco in 1960 and then attended Wilmington College with a degree in Business in 1962.  She was employed with Walt Disney World Company as an Immigration Specialist for ten years.  After leaving the Walt Disney World Company Barbara opened her own company and was self employed for ten years before retiring.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Long Garrell and Terri Long Redmon both of Hallsboro; grandchildren, Michael Dale, Sara Garrell Leonard and husband, Jonathan, Hanna Garrell, Andrew Redmon; great grandchildren, Levi Leonard and Nora Leonard.

The family will receive friends and neighbors at the home of Lisa Garrell on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 pm.
