Benjamin Long Obituary
Mr. Benjamin Clay Long, 56, of Tabor City, died Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Brunswick Cove Living Center. He was born December 20, 1962 in Columbus County, the son of Jason Long and Myrtle Hammond.
He is survived by his mother, Myrtle Duncan Hammond and stepfather, Charles Hammond of Whiteville; father, Jason Long of Shallotte; brothers, Dennis Long and wife, Vickie of Beaverdam, Jesse Long and wife, Cheryl of Whiteville; aunts, Mildred Dudley, Edith Honeycutt and husband, Richard, Faye Duncan; several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be at 3:00 pm Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel in Whiteville by Rev. Bobby Cartrette. Burial will be in the Hinson Cemetery.
His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Peacock Funeral Home.
