Blanche C. Damon Cornish 98, of Clarkton, formerly of Elmira, NY, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2018. She was born February 25, 1920 in Addison, NY the daughter of the late Henry B. Damon and Blanche Sibley Damon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jack W. Cornish, Sr., son, Jack W. Cornish, Jr., infant son Robert Cornish, two sisters, Irene Snyder and Calista Mazella.

She is survived by five sons, Steve Cornish and wife, Charice of Dandridge, TN, Lee Cornish and wife, Laura of Elmira, NY, Damon Cornish and wife, Holly of Elmira, NY, Henry "Hank" Cornish and wife, Carla of Rocky Point, NC, Wayne Cornish of Elmira, NY; two daughters, Lorraine Cornish Stanton and husband, Randy of Corning, NY, Louise Cornish Culpepper and husband, Lee Roy of Clarkton, NC; a sister, Loretta Messina of Hornell, NY; well over 100 grandchildren.
