Cleo Jenrette

Mrs. Cleo McLamb Jenrette 85, of Nakina died Saturday, June 15, 2019 at her home.  She was born March 3, 1934 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Homer McLamb and Minnie Long McLamb.  She was the widow of the late Claxton Jenrette.

She is survived by a son, Randy Johnson and wife, Jean of Nakina; a daughter, Paulette Evans of Hallsboro; three grandchildren, Rhonda Long, Nickolas Long and Brandy Johnson; seven great grandchildren, Summer Cothron, Destiny Cothron, Brystal Ward, Joey Long, Cameron Long, Nick Long and Julie Long; two great great grandchildren, Liam Joiner and Kaileigh Cothron.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, Mayo McLamb , Melton McLamb and two sisters, Maggie Mae Batten and Udell Cribb.

Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Cliff Strickland.  Entombment will be in Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Her family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Peacock Funeral Home.
