Donna Lynn (Butler) Chavis

Donna Lynn Butler Chavis 53, of Whiteville died Wednesday, July 10, 2019. She was born in Columbus County July 10, 1966, the daughter of John Henry Butler and Mildred Penny Odom Butler.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Steven John Butler.

She is survived by her sons, Jonathan Butler and wife, Jamie of Whiteville, Brett Chavis and Cody Chavis of Green Sea, SC; daughter, Megan Cox and husband, Lynn of Green Sea, SC; grandchildren, Everleigh Butler, Cooper Cox and Emma Cox; parents, John and Mildred Butler; brother, Robbie Butler and wife, Betty of Chadbourn; sister, Debbie Sue Butler of Whiteville.

Her funeral service will be at 3:00 pm Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Glenn Lane.  Burial will be in the Columbus Memorial Park.

Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
