Dorothy Lee (Smith) Browning

Dorothy Lee Smith Browning 88, of Wilmington, died Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, NC.  She was born in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Elbert Lee and Eva Belle Duncan Smith.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Browning; parents; brother, Horace Lee Smith; sister, Virginia Bullard.

She is survived by her son, David Browning of Wilmington; daughters, Lynn Browning and Carolyn Camlin both of Wilmington; grandchild, Brandith Yopp and husband, Wallace of Glendale, AZ; great grandchildren, Eslie Yopp and Brianna Yopp; brother, Orba Lee Smith and wife, Barbara of Asheville, NC; sister, Margie Pierce of Williamstown, NJ.

Her family graveside service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, March 23, 2019 conducted by Rev. Russ Nanney at Peacock Funeral Home’s Columbus Memorial Park.
