Earl Harris Obituary
Mr. Earl Harris 85, of Lake Waccamaw died Sunday, March 11, 2018 at his home in Lake Waccamaw. He was born October 29, 1932 in Archibald, LA the son of the late George Brantley Harris and Mattie Evelyn Guyton Harris.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lichliter Harris; two daughters, Vickie Lynn Wilkerson and Cathy Sue Harris, his parents.
Mr. Harris retired from International Paper. He was a member of the Lake Waccamaw Lions Club, a Shriner and a member of Lake Waccamaw First Baptist Church. He served on the Lake Waccamaw town board.
He is survived by a daughter, Rita Harris Watts and husband, Barry of New Smyrna Beach, FL; a son, Ricky Harris of Lake Waccamaw, a grandson, Michael Todd Dawson of Winston Salem; a granddaughter, Major Kathleen Watts and husband, Justin Humphreys of Lakenheath, England.
His funeral service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 14, 2018 graveside at Lake Waccamaw Hillcrest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472.
