Edith Cribb Ezzell

Edith Cribb Ezzell 80, of Whiteville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.  She was born July 12, 1937  in Horry County.  She was the daughter of the late Verlon and Zelma Hammonds Cribb. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, George W. Cribb.

She is survived by her sons, Ronnie Ezzell and Fiancé, Kristin Somers of Wilmington, NC, Dean Ezzell and wife, Rhonda of Nakina, and Marky Ezzell of Whiteville, NC; a sister, Betty Fisher of Thomasville, NC; grandchildren, Turner Ezzell, Adrean Ezzell, Anthony Packer, Summer Evans, Akin Ezzell, Lillian Ezzell, and Nathan Giddeons; great grandchildren, Sawyer Ezzell, Emmalynn Ezzell, Tyler Dawson, Devin Dawson, and Macie Packer.

A visitation will be held Friday, December 8, 2017 from 6:30-8:30 pm at Peacock Funeral Home.  Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Peacock's Chapel with Rev. Gary Ledbetter officiating.  Interment will be at McPherson Cemetery in Beaverdam.
