Inez Reaves White

Inez Reaves White, 91, of Nakina died Monday, April 3, 2017 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center in Whiteville. She was born October 16, 1925 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Champ and Etta Norris Reaves. She was the widow of Leo White, Sr.

Inez was a member of Nakina Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She is survived by sons, Leo White, Jr. (Ann) of Whiteville, Doyce White (Sylvia) of Nakina, Ronnie White (Gail) of Nakina, Darrell White of Nakina; grandchildren, Rodney White (Jennifer) of Greensboro, Angel Prince (Jimmy) of Loris, SC, Tracy White (Angela) of Whiteville, Brittany Worrell of Loris, SC, Ricky Martin (Sheila) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Kim Reaves (Roger) of Nakina, JaLynne White of Rutherfordton, and Devin White of Nakina; 12 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a brother Kirby Reaves, and sisters, Eula Mae Reaves and Latha Jacobs.

A funeral service is planned for 3:00 pm Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Nakina Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Gerald Holleman and Rev. Roger Coffey. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Her family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Peacock Funeral Home.
