Letha Patrick Freeman

Ms. Letha Patrick Freeman 89, of Bolton died Monday, September 9, 2019.  She was born May 4, 1930 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late William Ernest Patrick and Addie Jacobs Patrick.  

She was a longstanding member of Whiteville Seventh-day Adventist Church and a Sabbath school teacher for many years.  Letha was a dedicated member of the community and in her younger years she visited the sick and shut-in.  She loved her church, family and friends and was an avid quilter and gardener.

She is survived by her sons, Roger Freeman of Bolton, Michael Freeman and wife, Wanda of Cerro Gordo; daughter, Marilyn Daniels and husband, Albert of Castle Hayne, Melanie Maggard of Leland; twelve grandchildren, Frances Ledesma of Myrtle Beach, Miranda Cron and husband, Frank of Clarkton, Joe Ledesma and wife, Jessica of Winnabow, Melissa Dolan of New York, Doug Daniels of Castle Hayne, Holly Pelton and husband Geoff  of Leland,  Jamie Jones and husband, Pete of Greensboro, Jesse Lowery and spouse, Randi of Maryland, Wanda Lowery and husband, Brandon of Maryland, Frank Lowery of Greensboro, Jared Freeman and wife, Ashley of Hallsboro, Jameson Riley Freeman and wife, Nicole of Whiteville; twenty-four great grandchildren, Cienna Ledesma, Carolina Cron, Isabella Cron, Alexis Cron, Jacobi Ledesma, Windy Daniels, Zoe Dolan, Douglas Daniels, Madison Daniels, Mason Daniels, Emilee Nichole, Nathan Lit, Kaleigh,  Mariah Lowery, Miah Locklear, Malona Jones, Iyana Lowery, Brandon Fisher, Chayton Lowery, Skyler Lowery, Cashton Lowery, Stacey Freeman, Jaydon Freeman, Khlton Freeman, Emmaleah Freeman, Gabriel Freeman, Riley Takota Freeman; three great-great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Matthew Freeman; children, Adolph Freeman and Mavis Ward; her parents; two brothers, Elmer Patrick and Sonny Patrick; two sisters, Alice Faye Brewington and Quessie Patrick.

Her funeral service will be at 3:00 pm Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church by Pastor Kenneth Lee and Rev. Mike Jacobs.

Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church, Old Lake Rd., Bolton, NC.
