Lorena Jacobs Ganus

Mrs. Lorena Jacobs Ganus 95, of Clarendon died Monday, June 24, 2019 in Kinston.  She was born February 18, 1924 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Noah Jacobs and Carrie Gore Jacobs.  She was the widow of the late Casper Ganus.  

She was a lifetime member of Bethel United Methodist Church.  She was a frequent visitor at the Bug Hill Senior Center where she enjoyed seeing and meeting friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a sister, Pearl Wright.

She is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Teal Hill and husband, Mark of Kinston; a brother, Cole Jacobs and wife, Mary of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Steven Hill and fiance, Catherine Hofmann of Raleigh, Evan Hill and fiance, Gray Little of Raleigh; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Bethel United Methodist Church by Rev. Ricky Parker.  Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends one hour prior to her service at Bethel United Methodist Church.
