We were so sorry to learn that Mrs. Bright's time here had come to a close. Bill and I were very fond of both Mr. and Mrs. Bright. My wedding rings were purchased from Mr. Bright and I enjoyed Mrs. Bright' s chicken salad. Hers was best of all. Barry has had a very good business relationship with Mrs. Bright. He often remarked as to what a fine person she was. Whiteville has lost one of the best. May God be with you as you accept this new transition in your life. With loving sympathy, Bill, Pearl, Barry and Lisa and boys.

I'm deeply saddened to learn of Mrs. Bright's passing. She gave so much of herself to the Whiteville community for many, many years, & we're blessed beyond measure to have known and admired her. She was, simply put, Mrs. Whiteville, with those delicious sandwiches that became a legacy and which likely fed most everybody in town & in Columbus County for decades. Her community involvement at First Baptist Church, the Town and Country Garden Club, and devotion to her family will not be forgotten by those of us who knew and loved her. Praying for the family. We have known Ms. Bright for many many years and she was such a pleasant person and always full of smiles. One of the sweetest ladies you could ever know. Heaven has gained a precious angel. Fly high sweet lady and we all will see you again.
