Ray Galloway Obituary
Mr. Ray Galloway 71, of Chadbourn died Friday, November 8, 2019 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. He was born May 16, 1948 in Columbus County, the son of the late Arthur Galloway and Ollie Pierce Galloway.
He was a supervisor at International Paper and retired after 44 years. He received a batchelors degree from UNCW. He served in the NC National Guard for six years.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Worley Galloway; three daughters, Jodie Galloway Beck and husband, Jason of Clarendon, Jennifer Galloway Nail and husband, Josh of Mocksville, Sally Galloway of Chadbourn; grandchildren, Maddie Beck, Ayden Beck, Reid Nail, Jackson Nail, Cate Nail and Gabe Fowler; two brothers, Frank Galloway and wife, Peggy of Hallsboro, Bill Galloway and wife, Janice of Whiteville; two sisters, Faye Galloway of Hallsboro, Bonnie Gray and husband, Don of Bluffton, SC.
His funeral service will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel c0nducted by Rev. Buddy Seay. Burial will be in the Pierce Cemetery.
His family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Monday, November 11, 2019 at Peacock Funeral Home.
