Raymond "Junior" C. Ellis, Jr.

Raymond C. "Junior" Ellis, Jr. 80, of Whiteville died Monday, November 13, 2017 in Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Lifecare Center, Whiteville. He was born August 31, 1937 in Columbus County, the son of Raymond C. Ellis, Sr. and Alma Bordeaux Ellis.  

He was formerly employed with Hinson Church Furniture  Co. and Jack' s Motor Parts.  He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters, Naomi Kaziah, Doris Long, Annette Lee, Bonnie Harper and Reta Hinson.

He is survived by nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews.

His funeral service with military honors will be 11:00 am Thursday, November 16, 2017 at graveside at Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park with Terry Gore officiating.
