Richard Glenn Settlemyre

Richard "Ricky" Glenn Settlemyre 55, of Whiteville died Friday, July 7, 2017.  He was born July 13, 1961  in Bladen County.  He was married to his wife, Teresa Batten Settlemyre for 34 years.

He was employed with International Paper for 37 years.

He is survived by  two  daughters, Crystal S. Tatum and husband, Kevin of Ocean Isle Beach, NC and Sheena Settlemyre and fiance, Hank Bass of Bladenboro; his parents, Clarence and Marilyn Settlemyre of Riegelwood; a sister,  Diane Sykes of Leland; two grandchildren, Trey Tatum and Luke Bass.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Gwen Sykes and Bonnie Cromshaw.

A  memorial service will be Wednesday, 2:00 P.M. July 12, 2017 at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ray Yow and Rev. Jimmy Tatum.
