Ronnie Simmons Obituary
Mr. Ronnie Lee Simmons, 61, of Crusoe Island died Sunday, June 16, 2019 in Columbus Regional Healthcare. He was born June 22, 1957 in Columbus County, the son of the late Dours Simmons and Mary Long Simmons.
Mr. Simmons retired with the NC Department of Transportation on June 30, 2017.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Faulk Simmons; a son, Davy Simmons and wife, Autumn of Tabor City; four grandchildren, Drake Simmons, Kaylei Simmons, Rylee Godwin and Bryson Godwin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Lori Sellers and a grandmother, Clemmie Simmons.
His funeral service will be at 11:00 am Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church by Rev. Jamie Ward and Rev. Steve Nobles. Burial will be in the Simmons Family Cemetery.
His family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Peacock Funeral Home.
