Sean Thomas Lane

Sean Thomas Lane 38, of Riegelwood, NC died Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center, Whiteville, NC.  He was born January 14, 1981 the son of the late Thomas Lewis Lane and Linda Burgess Lane.  

Sean was a loving father and compassionate, big hearted friend, willing to give anyone the benefit of the doubt.  He was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman and loved hunting, fishing and camping.  He was a devoted Carolina Tarheels basketball fan and a passionate New York Yankees baseball fan.  Sean touched many lives.  “Everybody has a Sean Lane story.”

He leaves behind a cherished daughter, Sunday Tinslee Lane and son, Forest Luke Sandlin; devoted fiancé, Keri Lynn Sandlin; siblings, Caitlin Lane Garner and Kevin Alexander Lane; a multitude of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved brothers, Adam Matthew Lane and Jason Michael Lane.

His memorial service will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, August 25, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Delco.
