Shirley Winona (Nomie) (Reece) McClellan

Mrs. Shirley Winona "Nomie" McClellan 76, of Delco died Monday, June 12, 2017 in Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Lifecare Center, Whiteville, NC. She was born September 16, 1940 in Spartanburg, SC the daughter of the late Dalton and Helen Phillips Reece.  She was also  preceded in death by her husband, Daniel McClellan; daughters, Donna and Melissa McClellan;a granddaughter, Kelly Dale;  a brother, John Reece and her grandparents, Freeman and Edith Reece.

Mrs. McClellan received an associate degree from Southeastern Community College and taught Cosmetol0gy there.

She is survived by a daughter, Debra Dale of Delco; a son, Delbert McClellan and wife, Jodi of Delco; grandchildren, Tony Easter, Chris Dale, Shawn Merrick, Landon, Jacob, Seth, Max and Graham McClellan;  great grandchildren, Chloe Dale, Adam and Anthony Easter, Demetrious Dale, Hendrix and Damien Merrick; two sisters, Libby Graham and husband, Robert of Virginia Beach, VA and Sue Reece of Spartanburg, SC.

A memorial service will be at 3:00 pm Friday, June 16, 2017 at Red Hill Pentecostal Church with Rev. Calvin Malpass and Pastor George Wennerberg officiating.
