I met Vera Freeman many years ago when I was a young girl. Anytime I saw her, she was always nice and wore a big smile. She was an independent lady who thought nothing of tending to her garden and getting the weeds out. She would go over the restaurant "The Corner Grill" and chat with family and customers who came by. She was a familiar site in the community. She will be missed by her family and her friends. Sending love and prayers to the family..
