Addie Clark Obituary

Mrs. Addie Jay Jacobs Clark 55, of Clarkton passed on June 19, 2021 in New Hanover Regional Hospital, Wilmington.  She was born September 8, 1965 in Robeson County, the daughter of the late Robert Clark (R.C.) Jacobs and Retha Christine Freeman.

She is survived by her husband, Kent Clark; a daughter, Crystal Mitchell and husband, Tony of Clarkton; a son, Cody Clark of Clarkton; a godson, Delane Mitchell and wife, Christy of Chadbourn; a brother, Jim Freeman of Wilmington; three sisters, Blenda Mitchell and husband, Ricky of Lake Waccamaw, Penny Sanchious and husband, Willie of St. Pauls, Rena Spaulding and husband, Jason of Bolton; a grandson, Zacharias "Zach" Mitchell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, in-laws, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, Benjamin Terry Storms and a sister, Karen Renee Jacobs Clarida.

Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Freewill Holiness Church at Lake Waccamaw by Elder Calvin Park and Pastor Lucy Young. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Her family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Peacock Funeral Home.
