Alpha Mae (Canady) Sellers

Mrs. Alpha Mae Sellers, 82, of Lake Waccamaw passed on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at her home.   She was born February 25, 1940 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Gola Canady and Linnie Watts Canady.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Sellers, two brothers, Ernest and Lloyd Canady.

She is survived by a son, Lewis E. "Plute" Sellers, Jr. and wife, Rita; a daughter, Diane Willis of Durham; grandchildren, Travis Pomeroy, Jarrett Pomeroy (Preeti), Shannon Sellers (Alex), Drake Long, Lucas Long; great grandchildren, Sienna Bryant, Easton Bryant,  Banks Sluyter.

Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 5, 2023 graveside at Lake Waccamaw Hillcrest Cemetery.
