She joyfully shared her talents and enthusiasm with many students in Bladen County Schools at all grade levels. One retired teacher recalled how excited her students would become when "Mrs. Crayon" entered the classroom.
Annette's love fore life extended beyond her family. She adored traveling and creating. From trekking over Europe, feasting her eyes on treasured pieces created by the masters, to throwing clay pots on a potter's wheel in her driveway, Annette was an extremely talented multi-media artist.
The family would like to thank the staff of Bladen East Health and Rehab as well as Lower Cape Fear Hospice for the love and care afforded Annette.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
