Annie Ruth Buffkin

Annie Ruth Buffkin of Whiteville NC passed away November 2, 2024. She was born February 8, 1944 to the late Lawrence Mercer and Ruby Sellers Mercer.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Simmons and husband Grady "Shorty" Simmons ; grandson, Casey Bowen and wife Jamie Bowen; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Aria and Lily Bowen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Buffkin and her sister, Hazel Irene Hendrickson.

The family will receive friends at Mrs. Buffkin's home, Wednesday 11/6/2024, 5-7pm.

Her funeral service will be held Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 2:00pm at Peacock Funeral Home's Chapel with the Rev. Roger Coffey officiating. Burial will follow in Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park.
