Benjamin Shope Obituary

MSGT Benjamin Vance Shope, 72 of Whiteville died, November 25, 2019 at UNC Memorial Hospital. He was born August 15, 1947 in Clayton Georgia the son of the late Lake and Mildred Harrison Shope.

He was a loving husband and father. He was retired from the United States Air Force, Tuomey Hospital in Sumter, SC and Loris Hospital in Loris, SC.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, William Lamar Shope.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Brenda Godwin Shope; daughter, Stephanie Rojas of Conway; sister, Linda Wall and husband, Henry of Franklin.
