Mrs. Betty Faye Sasser Beck, 83, of Nakina passed on June 8, 2024 in Lower Cape Fear Lifecare Angel House, Whiteville.  She was born in Columbus County March 16, 1941, the daughter of the late Earlie Benjamin Sasser and Lois Kathleen Duncan Sasser.  She was the widow of the late J. D. Beck.

She was a homemaker and a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Larry Beck and wife, Jackie; a daughter, Diane Beck Long of Nakina; grandchildren, Larymi Beck Miller and husband, Caleb, Janna Beck, Michelle Lewis and husband, Gordy, Cheryl McRae and husband, Vance; great grandchildren, Gavin McRae, Caden McRae and Addie Lewis ; two nieces and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Linda Beck, her parents and a brother, J. W. Sasser.

Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Ward and Rev. Heath Connor officiating.  Entombment will be in Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Her family will receive friends one hour prior to her service Tuesday at Peacock Funeral Home.
