Mr. Bobby Wayne Stanley  70, of Whiteville passed on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.  He was born in Horry County, SC  and the son of the late John Alton Stanley and Delma Lois Wright.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Wade Stanley. Mr. Stanley retired in 1996 after 27 years employment with Dupont.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Brenda Powell Stanley; a daughter, Stacy McLellan (Mike) of Bladenboro;  a sister, Peggy Sellers (Dale) of Whiteville; a precious granddaughter, Gabrian McLellan; a sister-in-law, Joyce Stanley of Clarendon; many loving nieces and nephews and plenty of wonderful  friends.

His funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allen Singletary and Rev. Scott Enzor officiating.  Burial will be in the Powell Cemetery.

His family will receive friends Saturday, one hour prior to his service at Peacock's Chapel.

Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Ward, Greg Stanley, Doug Richardson, Shaun Lewis, Steven Worthington and Bryan Norris.
