Brenda Lea Shepard, 50 of Whiteville, passed Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She was born September 21, 1969, in Johnson City, NY, the daughter of Robert Shepard and the late Donna Lea Gardner Shepard.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Gardner, Jr.; father, Robert Shepard of Whiteville; Brother Ronald Atkinson ;uncle, Kenneth Gardner, Sr. of Whiteville.
