Carlene Allen was born August 5, 1942, the youngest of seven born to the late Manley and Geneva Jacobs. She peacefully departed this earthly world and entered her new heavenly home on the morning of October 13, 2025.

Carlene was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Floyd Malcolm (FM) Allen, to this marriage was born one daughter, Barbara Lynn.

Carlene may have only birthed one beautiful daughter, but she nurtured many. There wasn't a time that her home was not open. She went above and beyond to care for her loved ones, often putting herself last. She was always ready to make a joke, talk a little junk, and make you smile. She made it her obligation to make sure everyone was taken care of. From long days in the upholstery shop, to Sundays over a hot stove cooking for a village, evenings spent at the Ballfield watching her boys play, to taking care of her parents and siblings, she is surely getting her well deserved rest wrapped in the Father's arms.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Barbara (Lonnie) of Whiteville, NC, two grandsons, Trent (of the home) and Jacob of Delco, NC, two great granddaughters, Memphis and Anniston, A host of Nieces, Nephews, Family, and Friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband FM, parents Manley and Geneva, Siblings, Etta, Billy, Rena, Videll, Carson, and William.

Her funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 3:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church. Her family will receive friends one hour prior at the church. Burial will be at Red Hill Cemetery.
