Carrie Ann (Marvin) Butler

Pastor Carrie Ann Marvin Butler, 60, of Whiteville, went to be with her Heavenly Father Sunday, June 14, 2020.  She was born November 11, 1959, in Bladen County the daughter of Carrie Moore Marvin and the late William Franklin Marvin.

She was the Pastor of Spiritual Lighthouse Church in Whiteville.  Carrie was also the owner and operator of Ann's Daycare for more than 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her father, sister, Vonda Kay Marvin and a nephew, William Glen Marvin.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Lonnie Dale Butler; two daughters, Jennifer Dianne Richardson and husband, Phillip, Jamie Nicole Snipes and husband, Joshua all of Boardman; grandchildren, Samuel Thomas Richardson, Phillip Michael Richardson, Elizabeth Faith Richardson; mother, Carrie Moore Marvin of Whiteville; two brothers, William Richard Marvin and wife, Sonya of Riegelwood, John Allen Marvin and wife, April of Winnabow; two sisters, Barbara Jane Adkins of San Diego, CA, Kimberly Marvin Moore and husband, Milton of Lake Waccamaw; 12 nieces and nephews; 15 great nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, June 24, 2020 graveside at Columbus Memorial Park.
