Charles Cribb Obituary

Mr. Charles Devane  "Chuck" Cribb 90, of Whiteville passed on June 15, 2020 in Liberty Commons.  He was born April 28, 1930 in Columbus County, the son of the late Stephen W. Cribb, Sr. and Lettie Cribb. 

Mr. Cribb owned and operated Chuck's Body Shop.  He was a veteran of the US Air Force having served in the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Parsons Cribb;  sons, Ronnie, Greg and Mark Cribb; brothers, Clayton, Stephen, Jr., Bobby, Billy & Phillip Cribb; sisters, Margie,  Pauline and Estelle.

He is survived by his two sons, Kenneth D. Cribb of Whiteville, Charles "Chuck" Cribb and wife, Jennifer of Whitevile; three sisters, Ruby Blackwell of Longs, SC, Mary Lee Bruton of Sunset Beach, NC, Dean Ellison and husband, David of New Bern, NC; grandchildren, Chelsea Nichole Ward and Tracey Cribb; great grandchildren, Kenzie, Chloe, DaeLyn and Dakota.

Out of respect for our family and friends, due to the unique circumstances of travel restrictions and health concerns, a private  service will be held.

A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Cribb will be held at a later date.
