Mr. Charles Ricky "Rick" Moore, 67, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022. He was born in Portsmouth, Virgina the son of the late Charles M. and Inez McKeithan Moore. He graduated from Liberty University in Virginia with a Masters degree in psychology. Mr. Moore pastored Penderlea Baptist Church in Penderlea, NC and was a member of Olymphic Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann Stieringer Moore; a son, Gerald "Jerry" Lacy of Thomasville; two daughters, Melissa Jordan of Wilmington and Christina Lent and husband, Greg of Myrtle Beach, SC; eight grandchildren, Gerald Lacy, Athena Lacy, Virginia Gunnell, Victoria Gunnell, Demetrius Jordan, Jr., Dakota Jordan, Gregory Lent and Georgia Lent.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an Aunt, Estelle Ackerman.

Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 pm on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Peacock's Chapel by Rev. Sterling Sarvis. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service, 2:00-3:00 pm at Peacock Funeral Home.
