Christopher Hyatt Obituary
Christopher "Chris" Kirby Hyatt 67, of Whiteville passed on December 12, 2020 in Lower Cape Fear Lifecare Center, Whiteville. He was born March 2, 1953 in Columbus County, the son of the late Joe Hyatt and Dorothy Thompson Hyatt.
He was formerly employed with Joe's BBQ in Whiteville.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Duncan Hyatt; a brother, Mike Hyatt and wife, Mary of Whiteville; a sister, Amy Medwin and husband, John of Yadkinville; many nieces and nephews, a special niece, Cindy Gore.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David Hyatt; a sister, Elizabeth "Tip" Thompson.
His graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Thompson Cemetery by Rev. Willard McPherson.
