Corby P. Ward, 77 years old, was born January 11,1948 to the late Corby Ward and Leona Williams Ward. Corby is preceded in death by his parents, a Brother Carl, and a Sister Gloria Jean.

He was raised in the Sidney Community and attended Williams Township School.

Corby served in the United States Marine Corps August 1966-March 1968.

Corby is survived by his sister Shirley Ward Cribb and Brother in law Jerry Cribb.

Per the Staff at Open Arms Retirement Center, after doctor visits Corby would ask for 2 hot dogs, 2 hamburgers, and Vanilla milkshake. He loved cheese and milk and would come to the kitchen and ask for them.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday September 9, 2025 at 11am. In Columbus Memorial Park, 1227 S. Madison Street, Whiteville, NC 28472
